Freakin LSU and too many other colleges are just a money grab. F the experience that puts people in debt for half their lives. Tell me one degree from LSU that’s going to make a difference vs a smaller state school? I’m open for the education. Undergrad only.

And if it is anything like it was in the early 2000s the first 2 weeks will be insane then after that things thin out. Between people switching or dropping classes and people not going (well I assume kids today still skip. They are a little different today), but I don't think this is the first time this has happened.

It’s not. I will admit that it’s probably worse now than when I was a student, but it’s not something that just cropped up in three years. Honestly, I think a difference now is that today’s students and parents are more likely to complain.
Like I said earlier, if it’s that bad, student government needs to do a data dig. Find out the number of students and number of parking spots. Dig up some old parking maps and google enrollment figures from then. Isn’t that why you have a student government? They are your voice to upper admin.
I also think it’s odd…the HS where I teach has more parking than ever. Students these days don’t seem to care about getting a license as much.
