T-Mobile Reception in Broussard/Youngsville/New Iberia

Family is thinking about switching over to T-Mobile (great rates, better customer service). Only complaint we've heard is that there can be so-so reception in rural areas.
Anyone on here have T-Mobile and have experiences with it in Broussard, Youngsville, New Iberia? Just want to make sure reception is good in the areas around Lafayette.

Won't work for a good bit of area between NOLA and Broussard if that's a factor. Don't really remember how it was once in Broussard, but I no longer have T-Mobile if that helps your decision
