Don't worry. Inbetween trips I pretty much do nothing. It gets boring at times.

The kid thing. Woof. The wife and I waffle on this considerably.

Is it possible to have 1 kid that isn't an a-hole? Do wives inevitably want 2 no matter what they say?

No idea. Small bachelor party.

The others made the plans. It's basically a guided boozing tour for me.

I won't know what's going to happen until an hour before it does the next 3 days.

Yes. Takes very involved parents, but it is possible.

Figured as much.

We've discussed the have 1, adopt a foreigner route.

That way we can forever believe our shite doesn't stink.

The odds certainly aren't in your favor.

And, for some reason, they want two.

It's like the ultimate rescue dog. Talk about one-upping the "I only adopt rescues" assholes who frown on your pure bred.

The thing is boys are such assholes yet you want one for the family name.

My brother has a daughter and she's easy.

Of course, if you're a good parent, the son gets easier and the daughter becomes a lunatic.

Sort of pissed my bulldog died before I moved to Austin. It's rescue central here.

We already have one rescue, so my wife just bought a maltipoo from a breeder (the horror).

Suck it hipsters

My brother has a daughter and she's a terror at times. But, she is growing up in a divorced home with an evil mother.

Even when both parents are civil, it generally doesn't turn out well for the kid. Some are ok, but no kid comes out of a divorce unscathed emotionally or mentally.

I live in WBR. My drive time goes from ~45 minutes during the school year to ~15 minutes during the summer.
