Well, Industrial Technology at ULL to be exact..but anyways.

I'm graduating at the end of the '16 Spring Semester, so I only have the remaining semester, summer, fall and then spring to make sure I have all my ducks in a row.

I'm going to be taking classes in the summer so an internship is out of the question (I presume). I haven't attended any job fairs/career fairs yet, but that's definitely on my must do list in the next 6 months and even more so in the next 12 months.

Any recommendations on how I should go about this? Thanks in advance for the helpful comments

Have you ever had a job? Why can't you intern while you are in school?

Yes..I actually did electrical work before going to school (residential) and some industrial at the port in Iberia. Did some commercial work in Alaska for a almost 2 months right before I went back to school.

I can't intern because I'll be taking 2 classes (major courses) that will take up a lot of my time studying and also attending (ones in June, ones in July).

Well I don't exactly know the extent of the time an intern needs.. I'm assuming since I will only be available for a small portion of time each week during the summer that it would hurt me

Graduating early does not help you if you don't have work experience. You are much much much much better off graduating a semester late if you can work in an internship or some relevant work. It brings your chances of having a job offer when you graduate from below 50% to over 70%.

Would march 20th be too late to apply for an internship that would take place in the summer?

You know people who are high up in an oil company that can get you internships. Said Company also hires ITEC majors out of college. All I understand about the ITEC major is you can get a job at almost any company on Highway 90. Doing what? I am yet to figure it out.

I am looking at joining the military after I graduate.

Absolutely not as long as you are diligent. Apply anywhere and everywhere that could possibly have a role that you could fill. Leave no stone unturned. Be resilient. I once didn't land an interview for an internship until the week after school let out, but it ended up being a huge step forward in my career.
