Study finds nearly everyone with Coronavirus makes antibodies

Not sure why so many have been running with “we may catch it 15 times this year.”
Not to mention I haven’t heard of a single person having clinical symptoms twice yet.
Nevertheless, here is a study
“In their study of blood drawn from 285 people hospitalized with severe COVID-19, researchers in China, led by Ai-Long Huang, Chongqing Medical University, found that all had developed SARS-CoV-2 specific antibodies within two to three weeks of their first symptoms. “

Just to play devils advocate the patients that are suspected of not making enough antibodies are the ones with mild cases.
But I do think all the talk of repeat infections is fear mongering.

There's also the possibility that the strands mutate each season like the flu.

Coronaviruses mutate less than influenza viruses
It’s a double edged sword because it’s less likely to mutate to something mild quickly but a vaccine might be effective longer if it’s able to be developed.

And if a patient has a mild case, should we be worrying about them if they were to get it again?

Chonching is not Wuhan.
I doubt they even bother to safely transport specimens thousands of miles.
Last I saw, chonching was an enormous shithole of 12M inhabitants where you saw two men precariously transporting major appliances piled 18 feet high on an elaborate rickshaw.
This was only 15 years ago.

No. I’m not worried about repeat infections. I just thought it was important to point that out.

Just got an antibody test this morning in Gonzales.
