Student hit by drunk driver after LSU game

Anyone have any details on the ULL student (Blake Cordes) from Mandeville who was supposedly hit by a driver walking near Tigerland after the LSU game Saturday.
Blake Cordes passed away tonight. Can’t find any news stories on it or details about what actually happened

Yea I found a Facebook for st Paul's kid who attends ULL.
Was it a hit and run and yall are hoping for witnesses to come forward? Or has the driver not been identified.

Damn shame, really. However, I don't see how it doesn't happen a whole lot more frequently than it does. I always just cringe when I leave campus after a football game, as so many folks are walking on the roads and they don't realize how hard it is to see them.

Blake was hit by a young driver hit him , unable to see him in the dark as he was walking at the LSU game Saturday night. (NOTE From earlier posts that have been going around that he was hit by a drunk driver. He was not.)
Lord we ask, give and her family strength through this. May Mary be always at her side, as she knows this cross well. Enlighten & guide the doctors with your truth and wisdom. Thank you Jesus for the glimpse of hope. Lay your miraculous hands on Blake and heal him. In your precious name we pray.

They start sucking down those Modelos behind the wheel as soon as they get off work. And then when you factor all of the Bourbon-pickled coonasses driving around as well, it's like a shooting gallery out there in Baton Rouge. You take your life into your own hands when you venture out there.
