Can anyone find me a Jax pier cam?

Every cam is dead or presenting an earlier receded loop video. The one by Safe Harbor just died a min ago as the water was starting to come over the docks

bayouboy33 I live out on Edisto, and my BFF lives out in West Ashley right cross from the big American flag. We evacuated to Asheville to ride the storm out with some family. Let's hope Edisto is still there when we return.

I live downtown. I came out to my parents place in Mt. Pleasant once they evacuated.

On a related note, I'm a coastal marine geologist that works for a hazards engineering firm so if you have any questions, fire away.

I haven't seen anything today ... 6:21 last night was last post.

And this was at 6:15 .. "Palm City, FL. Still have power, for now. May not for long, at the brunt of the storm. If it continues on this path, it will hit me dead on."

The core of Johns Island should be alright as the majority of the structure of the island is paleo dune ridges... they're at a higher elevation.

However, Simce its completely surrounded by salt marsh, anything within .25 miles of a creek will be under several feet.

I hope Angel Oak has 1 more storm in that beautiful bastard

The other end of the island got pounded. Got a report from GTMO this morning and power was the issue.

Son is graduating in December with his Master's.

Honestly and truly hope our Florida people and SC and NC people are all ok. THings can be replaced. It's a pain but it's the truth.
