People call all kinds of different things warts. Could be as simple as nothing. Could be as major as an std that leads to penile cancer. Without a picture (and I really don't want to see it: I am NOT asking for one), it's hard to say based on what you're giving. Go to a doctor. And quit sleeping around on your wife.
