The fight is only over if SG gives up. That ain't happening, I can promise you.

And none of you saying it's over have the slightest clue about the budget. The annexation doesn't stop the petition, and SG doesn't have to have the casino money.

They need 17,700. They have over 18k gross. Working on extras. You can want it to be over all you want, but it isn't.

It isn't over! It's never over! St. George doesn't need casino money! St. George doesn't need mall money! St. George doesn't need any money! I do all my shopping and gambling online anyway!

It's clear the businesses requesting annexations are scared shitless of a St. George and want to hedge their bets.

Not so fast my friend. Businesses are being illegally solicited by Kip the pimp Holden LINK

Let me guess, St. Georgians still hold the position that their taxes won't be raised?

Why would they go up? There is still no revenue deficit projected.

Maybe so. But it only needs a simple majority, and only residents of SG get to vote.

Except it's not illegal for the mayor to talk to businesses. Other than that, you're right.

What would majority vote be? My guess a lot of residents are having second thoughts, signed just to sign, the movement have lost steam and just wont show up.

Luckily for St George the ones wanting seperation will show up in force. The ones now experiencing second thoughts probably won't vote anyway.

Russian, you have proven repeatedly you are ignorant on the matter. You didn't even understand something as basic as SG residents paying for sheriff's protection already.

A lot of people oppose SG, this isn't new. Kip pushing for annexations is nothing new either. It's not desirable from the SG angle, but it's not a death blow. If yall want to believe it is, then so be it. Just keep watching the news:)

You're lying again, but that's all you have to go on, so please continue. I'm enjoying watching you twist in the wind.

Of course, Kip always gets the blame. Can't wait until he becomes Lt. Gov., the butthurt will be incredible.
