Spinoff of the Navy thread.
PBS did a 10 part series filmed aboard the USS Nimitz during a deployment.
Very interesting series. Documenting the daily lives of the sailors and pilots during this cruise.

Side note: Commander David Fravor is as good an F/A-18 pilot as ever sat in the seat.

The USS Nimitz UFO incident was a radar-visual encounter of an unidentified flying object by US fighter pilots of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group in 2004. The encounter also included an engagement with the UFO by the commander of Strike Fighter Squadron 41, and his weapon systems officer.[1][2]
