Yep. I've had 4 epidurals, and two nerve burns in the past year and a half. Never felt a thing with sedation.

My boss just had this. They gave him an epidural and injected a steroid shot into his lower back nerves along his spine. He said was nearly instant relief. Good luck.

I'm only repeating what I heard the neurosurgeon I used to work for say here
But you're at risk for spinal instability having had two previous surgeries, depending on how much if any of the lamina was removed
I'd consult a good neuro specializing in fusion before starting any exercise personally. It is possible that strengthening your core (pt like medex or self) would help but it could hurt depending on your spine

I had epidural spinal injection done at Neuromedical Center in Baton Rouge and didn't feel anything. Received IV conscious sedation. Where have you had this procedure that it was so painful?

If you had 2 epidurals and they were painful, you're seeing the wrong doctor. I've had 8 or 9 and none were painful. Most recent 3 were done under CT scan with only local (no IV sedation), and they weren't even uncomfortable much less painful. Though I've also been getting 10-15 corticosteroid injections in my neck and back every 3 weeks for the past 7 or 8 years, so maybe I'm just really tolerant of needles.
