I dunno...but someone on here knows what I am talking about.
I actually saw Selma Hayak (spelling?) in there drugged out of her mind.
This was a place that guys only went to for sex. Girls went there for sex or just to have a fun girl's night.
My wife, long before I met her, swears up and down she had something placed in her drink.

you always hear about how Shreveport is full of bible thumping Baptists that dont drink or dance and it is bizarre to me that there are so many swingers around. seems like the worst thing about Shreveport to be honest

I think it still opens randomly but no set hours. Gary has the Cub now, I see him up there often.

Meh, I never thought of it as much of a swingers joint. Just was full or really hot Shreveport girls (attached and unattached). I'm sure there were swingers but I don't think it was a swingers bar.
The 24 age thing for guys was just to mature the place up and keep the girls coming. I will never forget when my 23 years and 11 month old buddy got turned around by that midget black door guy. Cops had to help the bouncer get my friend out.
When fats started out it was an underage place most of the time. We even rented it out for a senior party and got drunk as hell. When I was 17 we had no trouble drinking at fats and it was the first bar I could get in. When I was away at college they upped the age to 24 for guys but still let the young girls in.
I haven't lived there in 10 years so I don't know if its still open, but I have a lot of good memories of that little place and some of the chicks I pulled from there. I didn't know Gary owns the cub now.
One thing you are correct about is the coke. You could get the best smelling coke there, you couldn't stop sniffing it.

The building is falling apart these days, it still has electricity running to it though bc I see a light on outside the door on occasion when I pass by the joint. I've been so fricked up in that place I don't remember more than half the times I went to that place. Loved the low hanging fruit they served up though.

You ever hear of the Bossier Strip? Was Vegas before vegas. Richard Pryor said it was the craziest place on earth.
The strip had a good run from the 40's to 70's. Full of bars, casinos, strip joints, whore houses etc.
The Shreveport baptist put on a good front, but Shreveport has an interesting underbelly of long time degenerates.
