They said earlier that northbound was closed temporarily to allow southbound traffic stuck on bridge to make a u turn.

Agree, that’s what cop said. Said originally northbound had to breakdowns but those had been cleared and now it’s just backed up and rubbernecking....just passing along info of what I’m being told...

Passed that wreck right after it happened going NB. Looked like a car must have been stalled SB and another ran into it from behind. Best I could tell they tried to avoid at the last second because a half of the car was ripped open.

ps the wreck is eerie, sadly I’d bet at least one fatality. Little white car rear bumper was pushed all way to the windshield basically. It would be a miracle if driver survived.

It was starting to move, I peaced out at the first crossover because I already missed my dinner plans and didn’t want to get stuck on that side of the lake
