We don't own a trailer. Guess I'm gonna have to pony up and buy one. Again, that wasn't my concern when I created the thread. I just want to know if this cop has legal grounds to arrest me, but it looks like even if he doesn't, they can pretty much do what they want and it's up to me to get an attorney to prove that no law was violated. Got it.

It's the property of a church we attend. The pastor said he can ride there anytime he wants. Problem is, it's like 1/3 mile up the road and he would have to push it the entire way, and a 500+ lb. vehicle isn't easy to push.
So you know it’s not okay, but if you’re looking for someone here to tell you it’s okay, it’s okay.

yep, rules are for Brayleigh not for my Jayleigh!
If my son were named anything remotely similar to that I'd turn myself in for parental neglect

I cab tell you several stories that involve a 4 wheeler and a dead teenager.
For his own safety tell you kid to stay off the fricking road.

So maybe not the exact statute that the officer cited, but allowing your kid to drive a 4 wheeler on the road then trespass with it is 100% illegal.
That's what I was looking for. Thanks

I mean you can always refuse to open the door and tell them to come back with a warrant
If they bust down your door and shoot your dog you could have a legendary OT thread about it. May be worth it, tbh.

Not really seeing how this really affects anyone unless he’s holding up traffic or tearing up yards
He’d get away with it in my hood in the city of BR
there are several residents that ride around on various vehicles

Not at all. I'm just seeing if the cop was telling the truth about me being arrested, because I couldn't find an ordinance that stated what he told me. It's been provided here, so I see it's legit. That's what I was curious about.

His friends in other neighborhoods ride around with zero problems. It's just one dickhead neighbor who complains because of the noise. That said, I do understand that it's against the law and he has every right to complain.

Why didn't you say so? We have lots of ideas to frick with an annoying neighbor. We're the O-T.

If you have permission from the land owner and get him to the land without violating state law, he can ride until that neighbor has an aneurysm from stress. They can’t do anything about him riding if he’s within the law and has permission to be there.

Just like to point out that the cops handled this right.
I know a few APSO officers. Good and descent people. Agree they handled it well. Heed the warning. Your kid is breaking the law. Step up and be a good example and hold him accountable.
