Same thing happened to me..
You need to file a police report to get another one..
Later found out from a neighbors the trash guy dropped it into the truck, no one stole it.

My recycle bin came up missing a few months back. I went to pick up a new one and the guy with the city said kids take them all the time to push each other around in them. Back in my day, we did all sorts of stuff for entertainment, but pushing each other around in a garbage bucket wasn't one of them, of course we didnt have recycling back then, so maybe we would have.
