I scan the board occasionally and I would say 90% of the thread subjects lean in one substantial direction. Then, there may be a couple people who are different but they get shouted down by the radicals. No room for decent moderate discourse.

The Poli board is a PERFECT case study on group think. One could probably do a political science paper on it and get published.
