If you can't ride, you can't vote.

My neurologist ordered it to see if a fusion is a viable option for my back. I've got three disc that could be the issue. If my pain comes from mainly one disc, then surgery is an option. If my problem is all three discs, then as he said "the fix would be worse than the problem

Yep. My neurosurgeon's philosophy was, " We don't do neck and back surgery for neck and back pain, we do neck and back surgery for arm and leg pain. If it helps your neck or back, consider it an unexpected bonus." After my multi-level cervical fusion, I still had all the old pains plus a few new ones.
The pain will be well worth it for you if it properly identifies the source of your problem and puts you on the correct treatment path.

Nope.

I've had a heart cath where they stick a needle down to your Femoral Artery.

Feel better Darth.

Is that where they inject the dye and then turn you upside down? I had that done a couple years ago ... wasn't fun.

You would be surprised how many docs do not give a crap about pain levels. The most sympathetic docs are the ones thats been thru it, esp kidney stones.
