Eh, that’s always how it’s been. The dumbasses of the world outnumber the wealthy, but the 1% still controls everything.

Don’t see the big deal

The main point of natural selection is the weak dying off.

Due to equality and now equity we subsidies the weak and ensure they are comfortable enough to reproduce.

In the extreme yes. But there has to be some level of the common good and collectivism. Even Neanderthals cared for the injured/sick etc, even though they couldn’t “contribute”

I think like 6 people have as much wealth as the bottom billion people. There is absolutely something to be said about so much wealth being consolidated at the top.

There doesn't. We are in a race to the bottom, you'll get more collectivism as we slowly die.

Collectivism is a result of failed individuals. Too many people have become dependent. The biggest would be defense, but that's only necessary if other people collectivize and form a violent tribe or party. The less, the better off you are as a person.

Not sure why people hate them so much. They are entertainers. Do you hate Bill Burr or Chris Rock? They found a way to make money and have invested it very well. Also are very charitable.

So no level at all? Like I said, even Neanderthals were more sophisticated than that.

Democrats always view failure as "sophistication."

Failed individuals need collectivism. You speak for yourself.

I prefer cooperation to collectivism.

Their wealth has little impact on you.

Wealth =/= Money.

Jealousy is a trait of collectivists.

So in a hunter/gatherer situation, if someone breaks their leg hunting, should they just be left to die? What about Jim Bob that breaks his leg at the plant? Like I said, there has to be some level of collectivism and common good, it benefits everyone in the long run, and it’s just the right thing to do.

Possibly. Depends on the person.

Helping said person is cooperation, not collectivism.

Forcing people to help is collectivism.

Money means power. Those 6 people essentially have the power of the bottom billion people.

So?

Wealth =/= Money.

Politicians have 10000x the power as you, but it doesn't bother ya.

This is where we don’t see eye to eye, I don’t believe someone in that situation should have to rely on the voluntary whim of those that can provide. “A rising tide lifts all boats”

So you believe you own the rights to the labor of other people, and can force people to "do the right thing."

fricking progressives.

Someone in that situation shouldn’t have to rely on the voluntary whim of people that are able to help, call it what you want. Also it’s funny that you consistently name call when someone disagrees, it’s possible to have a discussion without that.

So your option is to force others to provide labor. This is how Idiocracy occurs. Do you want responsible people or authoritarian government?

People become dependent, and stop learning to think for themselves. BigGov is the nanny.
