To be honest, I didn’t check this model before posting. But his reported symptoms held the key to my answer.
Many radiators have a tank on each side, and inside the tank is a transmission cooler. The transmission cooler is like a radiator within a radiator, except instead of exchanging heat with the air, the oil exchanges heat with the coolant in the radiator.

It looks like the hose that carries tranny fluid through the radiator has sprung a leak. The fluid is so low that it doesn’t read on the stick.
I drove it 300 yards to a shop...so fingers crossed it’s not a rebuild.

On some yes, others no. An auxiliary or external transmission cooler separate from the radiator was an availabe option, rpo code KNP. This would be one of the three character codes on the decal stuck to the inside of the glove box door. Also if present, the cooler is visible through the grille, as it's bolted to the core support in front of the radiator.
If there is no external cooler then yes, plumbed through the radiator.

Something is up, because the radiator still has antifreeze but the transmission fluid won’t read on the stick.
Hopefully it just sprung a leak. The fluid leaked in the same area as antifreeze would.

You said the radiator "was burst". What does that mean? Then you just said the transmission fluid leaked where the antifreeze would. Also you said the radiator is full. Does that mean the radiator is fine? Does it mean you have a leak or break in a line or connection? Probably.

I saw what looked like a leaking radiator from a distance. After looking closer, the fluid isn’t antifreeze, it’s transmission fluid. It sprayed out onto the fan and got slung all over the radiator and front skid plate...it looks just like the radiator sprung a leak.

That’ll be a hose to the transmission oil cooler. No big deal. Replace them both and new fluid and filter.
