Renewables simply cannot power the grid. Period. They can be a great addition, but cannot produce the sustained power generation necessary.

We already have the answer, but the greens have destroyed any current ability to get the ball rolling on next gen reactors like LFTRs. .

Every nuke project I’ve worked on was killed by NIMBYs not tree huggers. People give those looney tunes way too much credit and don’t appropriately blame the local lawyers for saddling a pre-ntp project with millions in litigation that runs off investors.
