I live in Arkansas now. There are just as many trashy rednecks in south AR (and other areas) as there are in Louisiana.
That being said, I was once forced to stop in Fouke to get gas while traveling down on 49. It wasn’t very memorable—the name is far more interesting.
And to piggyback on a few other comments—Arky is very boring, but I kind of enjoy the lack of “excitement” but it comes at the cost of things being a little bland. They think LSU girls are insane and I probably prove them right from time to time.
Arkansas people are very friendly, I will say.

If that was my kid that got blindsided, ol black hoodie would have had a couple black eyes to match.
