Jesus Christ. And I am not shocked that your comment has a 9 to 1 upvote ratio.

"Want to not be stereotyped, tell people of that color to quit acting like animals."
Yeah, I am sure she was talking about calculations.

So when you saw the word animals you thought of black people. Got it.
Pot, meet kettle

All she said was animals and a group of people automatically think she is talking about black people. Who is stereotyping? Who is racist?
I’ve seen white people act like animals
Don't be obtuse.
Her post starts out:
quote:
They don't have to live in that country. They could go back. But it was their own people selling them into slavery to begin with and tearing them even worse in those countries of origin
But yeah, she's probably talking about white people.

Unfortunately for you, it makes no sense in this case.

It’s one thing to think it, Hell there might even be a grain of truth in it. But damn you have to be a special kind of stupid to say it on the internet with your name attached to it
Exactly.
Anyone stupid enough to put this on facebook should not be teaching anything or anyone.

So just to be clear you only get offended when someone uses a stereotype you don’t like or you don’t think is true.
Got it.
Your reading comprehension is abysmal.
The woman clearly says there are only a few bad apples that ruin the bunch, so if that's the case, stereotyping the entire race is asinine.
Also, I said it is particularly stupid to expect people to "fix" their race. This woman thinks black people should be out here fixing other black people or else the stereotype (that she admits is widely false) deserves to prevail. That's asinine.

Are you are ignoring my point about “Black atheletes” being a stereotype. How is it not? What if there is a studious black kid who likes science and doesn’t want to be seen as a black jock? Ever think about that? Probably not because it doesn’t fit your narrative. But you had no problem with people walking around saying black people are better atheletes.

None of those quotes are in the linked article. My argument is based on the quotes in the article so I’m not sure if we are reading 2 different stories.

There is nothing wrong with my reading comprehension. You said you had no problem with people saying blacks are better atheletes.
So you are ok with that stereotype because you think it is a positive attribute but you haven’t consider negative effects it has.
Congratulations on being a racist.

I said I'm not offended by it. Pay attention bro.

Your argument is an attempted gotcha calling people a racist for thinking she's talking about black people. The fact of the matter is she is unequivocally talking about black people.
Like I said earlier, that's a textbook move from a message board bigot - defend some obviously racist stuff by calling everyone racist for picking up exactly what the person insinuated.

I am paying attention bro
You came in here on your high horse trying to score moral points like a typical little snowflake by saying...
But when I offered the black athlete or BBC stereotype you aren’t offended by that. So admit that you are just triggered by certain stereotypes you don’t like....not all stereotypes. So you are dealing in SUBJECTIVE facts not OBJECTIVE facts. It’s very typical of a little snowflake that gets triggered easily and loves to call any and everything racist.
You have a very simple mind if you can’t grasp that concept.
All that being said, seeing the full quote from this lady she obviously made a racist statement with many stereotypes. I’m not defending her, just calling your bullshite out

Is she talking about MS13? I really don’t know. I feel like there is a larger quote out there that isn’t in the original argument and half of us are looking at the partial quote.

Just pointing out that assuming people of color is who she was talking about is racist.

I'm not offended by any of it. I disagree with it. There is a difference.
I also think there is a difference between scientifically backed physical traits and the stereotypes this woman is discussing.
People form SE Asia and Oceania tend to be very short. The Dutch tend to be rather tall. etc.

Is she right? People that act like animals don’t get respected
