2010 movie called "The Conspirator" about the trial of Mary Surratt is a decent watch with some good actors: Tom Wilkinson, James McAvoy, Robin Wright, Kevin Kline, and Colm Meaney (Durant from Hell on Wheels).

eta: Fort Pulaski in Savannah was where a lot of the film was shot. Was supposed to be DC where the trials, imprisonments and hangings occurred but pretty much all of the period forts and historic sites in DC “now belong to the ages”... so that combined w/ GA’s tax breaks for the film industry made it an easy decision to shoot in this state.. and thankful for it.
Jenny Gump is still a villain.
