I’m in north bossier, no neighborhood and own 8 acres. I shoot ducks, dove and deer out of my backyard. No cookie cutter for me. I do see a shitload of cookie cutter homes along youree drive tho, southern trace and ellerbee road, did I mention the Highland area?

Sorry. I missed your point other than you live outside of Bossier City.

You want a link for my personal opinion comparing Shreveport neighborhoods to Bossier City neighborhoods?

ETA: I don’t know who Nancy is. Sorry people are downvoting you simply for sharing an opinion. It wasn’t me. I rarely use that function.

broadmoor, spring lake, ellerbee area (which is a lot of area) are nothing like cookie houses

Your grasp of the English language seems to be rather tenuous. Have you ever been to Shreveport. There aren't many houses on Youree drive, "ellerbee" road doesn't exist, and Highland is full of what would be beautiful old homes if they weren't in disrepair. It's also not like Southern Trace is full of track homes.

I think you’re confusing South Highlands with Highlands. Highlands has plenty of methy looking houses. I live in South Highlands though. It’s a gorgeous neighborhood.

Bossier City has a couple of neighborhoods that probably could be nicer with that old neighborhood feel if all the white people would quit leaving the central part of the city. Plenty of folks in Shreveport do that also. Honestly, as much as I hate magnet schools, they have prevented a lot of white flight in Shreveport. But they’ve caused lots of other problems also.

That’s quite possible, it’s been a minute since I lived there. Does the S Highland neighborhood have the huge 100+ year old oak trees? If so, yes it is a gorgeous neighborhood.

eta, didn’t mean to come across as an ahole earlier, I was just having a little fun with you. Go Tigahs.

Shreveport is a ghetto parfait. You have ghetto, nice, ghetto, nice, etc. Now, you are at risk of getting shot anywhere except gated communities in Shreveport.

Shreveport is trying to catch up to Dallas.

Since Dallas turned blue a couple of cycles ago they set a record for murders last year and had a year over year increase in January.

and if you want to steal just keep it under $750

got rid of a statue though! (but the ringleader of that left his office in disgrace after being charged with a raft of corruption charges)
