Yes if you are in charge of a minor you are responsible for their actions

My first instinct is to say "hell yeah", but then I guess there is the question of "will an already fricked up kid be better off where he or she would be placed?".

But then yeah, a 6 year old bringing a loaded gun to school is 100% on the parents.

But someone responsible for the kid should be punished.

Parents shouldn't be charged for this. At that age kids are more influenced by their peers. And is also old enough to know right from wrong.

Parents should be held accountable to some degree.
