There’s not much a mayor can do about this shite.

To a certain extent I agree, but hating on the police and them being way understaffed doesn't help.

I honestly don't care much as long as it stays in the hood, which Howell Park absolutely is.

Is that golf course still open? Ten years ago hoodrat mf's would steal balls after you hit them down the fairway.

I remember playing little league games there in the mid 80s. It was starting to change for the worse back then. That's probably one of the worst areas of BR now.

That area was bad back then, too but I have fond memories of Howell Park. Not just American Legion baseball, either.

Back then they had the big pool with a 10' diving board and that mostly gutted WW2 plane that you could climb through. It still had a bunch of jagged metal and wires in it.

I think they closed it. I never played there though. Plenty of other courses in nice areas.

It wasn't great but nothing like now. My great aunt lived off of Winbourne until she died in the late 90s. She refused to move.

. Don't , but here you are with multiple posts.

Police were standing feet away & heard the gunshots as 11 were shot in the French Quarter recently. " Hating on the police" has nothing to do with this . If someone is determined to kill/ hurt another person.........

So keep on " not caring" & foolishly blaming the Mayor for random shootings

Nothing like buying your golf balls back in the parking lot from the urban youth that frequent the course

I’m friends with the victim’s GF on FB.

He went to the park to buy something using the Let Go app.

Looks like a selling app robbery gone wrong.

She posted an add on Let Go looking for a suspect and they deleted the post.
