1) Your friends are wrong. That’s stupid. Central Mexico isn’t dangerous by any standards once you get passed the border, which still isn’t really dangerous for people minding their own business.
2) I’ll never understand why white people think being white puts them at a greater risk in “dangerous” areas. Shitty ghettos are more dangerous for black people living there than a random white person walking through. Same for Mexicans/Mexico.
