I didn't say I have two dogs tearing up my house. I said it is a possibility if the 2nd dog is younger. That dog will likely mimic the behavior of the anxious dog.

But when we leave he gets distraught

My gf and I have one that's almost 7 months. From the day we got him he's slept in the kennel with a blanket over it. I also was in-between jobs early on and so that helped early on with potty training and him being alone for hours, but now he doesn't whine at all in his kennel during the day or at night.

When we go to work or go eat and we leave him in there, he's fine. Haven't heard him whine in months now. He is spoiled as shite though in regards to that my gf insists he needs a noisemaker in the bathroom lol.

I thank God, because the last dog I had would whine every waking minute we kenneled him during the day.

My dog DGAF. Hell, he just laid there yesterday and let the robot vacuum run into him 20 times.

I'd beat the shite out of him if he chewed up my stuff, and he knows it
