Yep.

And they certainly didn’t sign up for being raped. No matter if it’s somebody taking them and raping them, drugging them and raping them, or yes even using just a huge power imbalance and basically cornering these really young girls in a way that makes them feel as if they can’t say no / that there’s not a way for them to even if they desperately want to.

An 18 year old (and it wouldn’t surprise me if younger in cases) can be really naive and get themselves into a bad situation that they can’t or don’t know how to get themselves out of. Especially when you take a young naive girl being pursued by an older, more mature, wealthy, more powerful man and it’s not hard to see how they get themselves into a situation where they simply can’t "just say no to them" if they are ever even given the chance to.

To the tough guys on here faulting the "whores" for being raped pray that doesn’t ever happen to any of your daughters.

Hefner's wife at the time cleaned up the demographics and turned it into a more tame, corporate theme.

Per last week's episode, most of the tawdry goings-on were outsourced to Hef's buddies' "Shadow Mansions" during that time.

It really is a shame that Miki Garcia's testimony before Congress in the early 80s after she left the company didn't get more traction at the time.

Yes, all the women involved and featured as having worked for Playboy corporate were complicit in some way, but at least Garcia spoke up immediately upon leaving.
