Clayton and Salsbury got along great. That was an act for a segment.

My link is that they did a ESPN Radio show every Saturday in the fall and used to laugh about how people (I call them gullable dumbasses) really believed the point - counterpoint segment was real.

radio is completely different than tv.
to insult someone's physical appearance on live tv is pretty low, fake or not. the video certainly didn't look like they were messing around.
i don't think that is why he is done anyway. most people don't like him and he has a lot of baggage so ESPN did the preemptive strike and axed him

Had a chance to meet him during the last Super Bowl in New Orleans. He was out with Dan Patrick and Phil The Showkiller. Salisbury is a big dude (in person).
I think he is one of the only people who know crap about football on ESPN. He'll be missed as the channel turns into the Stuart Scott/Stephen A. Smith ebonics channel.
