The cameras have been on them for awhile, close to 2 decades I'd reckon if not more. The time it's active is when the door is open. They catch things like bullies, crazy moms, and dumbasses driving around a stopped bus with signs extended all the time.
Don't want to have a ticket? Show the basic knowledge of how to fricking drive around a school bus. Which unlike a camera at a light. Has a witness inside when the camera is on.
