Cashier at the grocery store wearing masks and gloves.
Protecting herself which is fine. But unless she changes gloves after each customer, which she wasn’t, she could potentially be spreading the virus to every customer being she’s touching every single item she scans. Chances are remote but not impossible.

To be fair, those who don't have the underlying issues and wear PPE might be hanging out with those who do. My gf has been in the facemask get up because I have some underlying issues and she doesn't want to kill me.
I'm guilty of walking around thinking I'm only going to affect myself. I'm rarely around anyone though. But I definitely understand that people are wearing the ppe so they don't affect other people. I basically just go to work and then home.
The other day a friend asked if I wanted to do a driveby and pick up some crawfish that he had boiled. He said to just come to the gate and he'd pass it to me. His son has crohn's disease and I felt kinda bad that I didn't wear a mask. He didn't say anything about it or even act like it was an issue, but I felt like I still should have worn one.

Now I understand people who are REALLY OLD and/or have underlying health conditions taking precautions, but I'm seeing a lot more than that with the PPE on. shite is dumb.
It’s dumb to wear PPE to prevent infection with a novel infection that may lay dormant and potentially reactivate? I’m hearing chatter this thing may be very fatal over a 6 year period. You can take your chances if you want.

The mask is beneficial if you are positive to avoid spread. Mask wont help you at all if an infected person coughs on you. Virus smaller than holes on most masks and can get in thru ur eyes or ears. Gloves can still carry the virus so how does a glove help you if u touch your face? Same as if with bare hands.
