32 years of work for them and boom 3 words you think would be ok to say in any society and he has to resign. Scary times for whites and blacks.
I was hoping maybe the team would have his back on this, given that he gave 32 years to that sorry sack of shite organization...ya know, maybe at least say something nice about the guy and that they know he really isn't a racist.
But nope. Not a peep out of any of those frickers. They are too PC to stick up for the guy and it makes me sick.

Boogie, Chris Webber, and Matt Barnes, among others, accused him of being racist above and beyond this comment.
Idk the ins and outs, but firing/resigning over that tweet alone is ridiculous.

If you go read the following tweets and his replies to ppl criticizing him he was actually being thoughtful and not combative with anybody at all. This is beyond stupid.

Think about it. I don't know the true textbook definition of "racist", but do you think a dude who really truly hates black people would stay employed by team and a league that has mostly black players for 32 years?? Imagine riding on airplanes and buses with people you hate, and spending your career trying to hype them and prop them up on TV.
I think that would be a miserable existence for a true racist.

By not being an ally who shuts up, listens, and parrots everything they want you to say and believe, it is, in their minds, literal violence against them.

Not sure if you're much of an NBA fan but you'll recall it was Donald Sterling who literally lost his team (Clippers) due to obscene racist behavior. Napear took Sterling's side and said Sterling wasn't racist because he hired black people.
This is why Boogie baited him on Twitter. And, predictably, he fell right into the trap. Good riddance. No reason a racist should make a fricking dime off of the backs of blacks who make up most of NBA rosters.

As I have dug deeper on this, it definitely looks like the players had an axe to grind against the TV guy and they already thought he was a racist. He also hosted a sports talk show and apparently Cousins was a frequent target of his criticism.
Sounds like Cousins laid the perfect trap and the dude fell right into it.
