It’s complicated because Europe needs Russ for oil and gas. They fricked themselves with their green energy policy. Shutting down nuclear plants for no reason. People who want western countries to fail are doing a masterful job influencing them

Let Europe handle it without our military. Maybe they will stop taking welfare and pay for their own defense since they aren’t paying us

Update: US is evacuating everyone from the Ukraine embassy today. Russia is also pulling its diplomats from Ukraine. I’d say this is the final straw, you can’t really come back from this diplomatically

After they destroy all of the Biden families misdeeds. What’s joe going to do? He took 31 million from the CCP, he took 4 million from Moscow’s wife, he’s made tens of millions in Ukraine. This is all about joe protecting himself. He never should have been president because he is the biggest national security threat this country has ever seen. He has to do what they want

You could say that about almost every war and conflict we have fought where the country wasn't personally attacked.

And yet politicians still sent people to die in unpopular domestic conflicts the average person either disliked or didn't give a shite about.

That'll last about as long as it takes for video of Russian atrocities, of which there will be many, to hit the internet.

And many will be skeptical of said videos because no one trusts what they see anymore. We're not going to war to protect Ukraine.

Not true.

In 1950, 78% of Americans supported going to war to stop North Korea from taking over South Korea.

In 1990, nearly 80% of Americans supported going to war to defend Kuwait's sovereignty in the Persian Gulf War.

In 2003, 63% of Americans supported invading what they assumed was WMD Iraq.

Only Vietnam was an unpopular and polarizing war from the start and that mainly had everything to do with the early induction of the draft (which started in 1965).

And again, if not actual American Boots on the ground, the Deep State/MIC at least wants us to go even further into the depths of debt hell to fund this bullshite.

I’m so done. I just hope they don’t bite off more than they can chew. Last I checked, Russia is still a nuclear power.

Biden/Putin call just ended... not that it makes a difference.

Steve Herman (@W7VOA)
Update: @POTUS-Putin call ended at 12:06 EST (17:06 UTC), according to the @WhiteHouse.

In other news, Russia:

quote:

@RussianEmbassy #Lavrov: After Russian troops finish drills and return to barracks, West will declare 'diplomatic victory' by having 'secured' Russian 'de-escalation'. Predictable scenario and cheap domestic political points.

Lavrov and Blinken also talked:

RUSSIA'S LAVROV IN CALL WITH BLINKEN 'CERTAINLY DID NOT SIGNAL' THAT MOSCOW WAS PREPARED TO DE-ESCALATE -SENIOR STATE DEPT OFFICIAL
