Yeah that's not true. You gotta somewhat watch what you eat. I can't eat crap and be thin, even if I ran 40 miles per week.

I don't really know but would guess most everyone consumes more than enough calories for 30 miles a week. I don't really notice being overly hungry until getting up towards 50 miles a week.

How many miles were you running when you started?

I probably do about 15-20. Used to run 30 or more a week. I eat when I'm hungry.

What are your goals? Generally, you have to burn 3600 calories to lose a pound (i know, fatties don't want to hear that).
Are you wanting to get better at running or lose weight? You almost certainly burn ~150 calories per mile if not less.

Do you drink cokes and/or do you eat fried food? Keep running like you're doing and cut out one of those and you'll be good. Also don't swill Gatorade.

Zero cokes and no fried foods. Lots of fruit, pistachios, yogurt, eggs, etc...
Why you ask about fried foods and cokes?

If you're worried about daily caloric intake, those are just throw away calories. Especially if you drink booze at all.
