Update from Frisco - Insurance inspector agreed that I need a new roof. Contractor coming tomorrow to give me a price and offer a contract. Hopefully, his price will be close to the insurance coverage. I have a $2000 deductable.

Good luck. My sister just missed losing her family's house in Keller to a F0. Only had some damage to a fence and lost a tree. Neighbors had stuff ranging from shingles down to slab.

Unfortunately for sis part of the fence is anchored into a cinder block wall and is leaning towards the neighbor. Means either all the support poles are bent, or the entire short wall is damaged, or both.

From what you've seen out there, is it mostly roofs that are damaged? I live in Wylie and I haven;t really head a comparison of our hail storms from last year vs the ones that came through there this year.

Yes mostly roofs out here is west Frisco. A few windows.
