No question. But damn, I wish I had some disposable income to invest in the area. As DC continues to grow and people continue to move back into the city, real estate in Anacostia seems likely to have a high ROI.

Just making all the black people PG County's problem.

Way before google maps and guided navigation (when you had to get directions from mapquest) , I had to come to BR to get a guitar fixed at the only guitar luthier close by. His shop is off of Tom Dr. The route took me through some of the absolute shittiest areas I've ever seen on that side of town. I was hoping and praying that I didn't get a flat or break down.

I guess I just haven't seen the bad parts. I forgot to mention East Bay/ Richmond, too. Richmond, CA around the plants is rough as it gets. Still, lol at San Franciscans who think they have even a single bad neighborhood in SF County.

Normally that's true, but in Austin, Cesar Chavez is 1st St. downtown. It's on the lake and is all nice hotels, fancy condos, city hall and office towers.

I have to take a moment to LOL at whoever said Baytown for Houston. Baytown is mostly middle class. For Houston, try the Bloody Nickel. Or Alief, ugh.
