Have the recent road projects improved anything? Or is it still frustrating to the point where River Rd is the only option?

The contractor shutdown work at the Nicholson/W. Lee intersection due to the discovery of a rogue sewer line.

The project is not complete...traffic sucks.

No shite?

Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck.

This is taking for fricking ever.

Also, is the ultimate plan to keep adding asphalt until the road surface is level with the drainage - or are they going to go with concrete at some point?

I drove by yesterday.... It still sucks. But they are so close. Jesus... If they'd just finish it, it will be a million times better.

The concrete curbs are mostly in place so i doubt they intend to pull the bed back down to base for concrete. I assume it will be asphalt.

I have never seen them stack asphalt several feet thick like they did on that project though.
