An arrest has been made after a new sculpture on the levee was vandalized less than a week after it was unveiled.
The report from the Baton Rouge Police Department says after identifying Caleb Ashley Davis, 23, as a suspect, detective went to his home on Hyacinth Street to question him after recieving a tip from Crime Stoppers. Davis reportedly admitted to spray painting the sculpture on Tuesday, Dec. 10. He was arrested Thursday, Dec. 12 and charged with simple criminal damage to property.
In fairness to Caleb spray painting technically isn’t breaking it
