Yes. He stole the name and act. Pretty pathetic really. John Bean was hilarious.

I grew up in Tulsa and KMOD was my go-to radio station. Jean Triplehorn (the actress) was a DJ there around 1980.

I had moved to OKC by the time Phil & Brent went on the air, but I am very familiar with the Roy D. Mercer bit. The call to Goldberg is my favorite.

Goldberg also grew up there. He should have known better. They really had him going for a while.

That was a classic; it was about horse feed giving his pony a boner if that's the one I'm thinking of.
