But today it seems like you are bombarded via social media and the “normal” media about this shite. Like there is a concerted effort from about .05 percent of the population and the media to brow beat the other 90 plus percent into submission. Years and years ago these people would have been committed, now they’re made out to be hero’s.
Taken into that wider context, the Bud Light backlash becomes more important. What was weird arse shite 30 years ago is largely normalized by bombardment of advertising. The ESG crap is a way to keep the bombardment going, to make sure large corps keep normalizing abnormal shite.
With the way corporations are so intertwined, boycots are fairly useless, unless the boycotters get to the point they are willing to sacrifice their own way of life to prove the point. AB is actually a great target, because there is little sacrifice needed to pursue it. It would be nice if at least a subtle point is made against AB, but probably wouldn't change anything.
Boycotting things like Amazon and Giigle, now that would require alot of self-sacrifice for many people. But hurt their bottom lines, and then maybe they turn on ESG.
Riley Gaines (God love her) is a foot soldier in trying to demonstrate the end result of the nonsense, but 1000 Riley Gaines won't change Wall Street's mind.
Those with means can, in a united effort.

Why do they use "phobia" for everything? I'm not afraid of trans people, I just think they are disgusting freaks, or at best, extremely mentally ill.
Phobia is for shite like spiders in your bed.
