Perhaps the gold standard of pistols. For about $16 the marine cups improve underwater firing. Tough gun.

I wish I had your skills of prediction. I could know exactly when I would need a gun too! The moment, the place, the situation. Like Nostradamus

I go off facts and statistics.

Been a couple centuries since government agents have tried to break down doors in my neighborhood and establish quarter.

Is that seriously your only retort?

I only asked why you train like a navy seal for home intruders. Who are you waiting for? Why be overtly agressive to an unknown agressor when being passive could end the encounter?

But revolvers don't automatically make you a better shot or faster.

Head to head in a gun fight semi-auto v. revolver... Semi-Autos give you an advantage when the shooters are equal.

But it takes very little time and to get comfortable and proficient with a Semi-auto. And if you are going to have a gun for self defense its a good idea to take some time and get proficient with it. Might as well take the advantage that the semi-auto gives.

Because to wise to prepare for everything

Why not? There's absolutely no one else going to protect you or your family.

No, it's absolutely the most appropriate, though.

I don't

I'm not waiting for anyone. I'd like to have a set of life saving skills should I need them.

I've never said that wasn't an option. Being aggressive isn't always the best way to go.

I realize you like to argue just for the sake of it, but you're coming off as pretty dumb right now, but please keep going

My wifes little brother handed her a model 29 in a horrible attempt to teach her to shoot. The rear sight grazed her forehead and scared the crap out of her. It took a long time to get her to pick up another pistol. Started with a 22 and worked up to a 357. I stopped there...

If you are 'preparing for everything' then don't discuss it on an online forum.

For god's sake I hope he is using proxy and used that proxy to set up the email too.

If not, oh wow, he has been laying out his defense plan.

The 'plan for everything' makes little sense when the 'everything' is so abusrd.

Idiots who own tactical shite and vacuum pack 20k rounds 'just in case'

If you were even slightly educated on the matter youd realize that training makes everyone around you, even the bad dude, a little safer

But you really don't belong in this conversation.

You mean range time or clearing a house time?

I agree with one of those.

I am looking at getting a .38 special revolver for home defense. I have a .380 lcp and worry that the one time it jams will be when I need it the most.

Good quality semi-autos are extremely reliable with minimal care.

If you are going to have it to protect your family why would you choose to be at a disadvantage?

I have a Sig Sauer .45 cal I keep upstairs in my bedroom and a Glock 22 .40 cal downstairs.

Daily carry is a Glock 17 or Glock 43 9mms
