re: Revisiting an Old Debate: The Oxford Comma

I was taught to use it, and I do probably 95% of the time. But I realize not all had the benefit of my superior education and don't use it. I no longer think so badly of these unwashed ones. They are doing their best. Sigh.

There's a great passage in a Buckley book on sailing about German navigation equipment and Germany's propensity in the Twentieth Century to be at war with the US. I'll post it to you on the Book Board when I find it.
