Grandfather's 60+ year old house was flooded and is a total loss. Our family has decided that it's beyond repair. It already had foundation & roof issues so this was just the tipping point. Any demolition company recs in the Hammond area? About how much are we looking at to demolish & haul off a small house (+/- 1200 sq ft)?

Barring any environmental issues (asbestos, etc) demolition and disposal should be inside of $5,000.00

We're thinking that asbestos could be a problem, but we're not sure. How much more are we looking at if we run into issues like that?

Asbestos could potentially add another 1-2K to the total lump sum.
