Well she might want to know if the dude is creeping tenants out. He's probably a harmless good ole boy though it sounds like.

If he had the key even for a short time he can get it duplicated at the closest hardware store. With a little more effort he can make an impression and get a key made from that. It's why you don't ever leave your house key on the keyring when you go to the carwash or any place with valet parking.
