That’s wrong, in the hundreds of credit reports I have looked at I have never seen someone with a medical collection with a solid credit score

This more so for me trying to raise my score. My score definitely took a hit because of the collections report.
So even though I paid the collections 3 years ago I should call them up and see if they’ll remove it?
Or should I simply write the reporting agencies and explain what happened?
