Recommendations on water well filtration

So my house has a well water system. The water stains the sinks and shower tile over time. I’m looking for a filter system.
I’ve read that I need to get a report done on my water in order to purchase the correct filters. Where do you get a water report done?
I’m in the Monroe area.

Take a sample to a company that drills wells..google is your friend
If it s iron, or manganese for that matter a filter is shite. A softener is the answer, and no, a softener is not just for softening. In fact, calcium in well water in in La is not that common.
