Non-recliner here for the courtesy aspect, and I have no problem sitting up straight in a seat for several hours if need be. You paid for your seat. I also paid for a
tray table and that seatback storage pocket on the seat of the person who reclines back into me. I wouldn’t hit the seat like that guy did to the selfish old lady, but you’d better believe I’m not being gentle with those features I paid for on the back of a recliner in front of me. Hey, I paid for those things so will use them regularly when I encounter a recliner. If the airline didn’t want me to use them, they wouldn’t put them there.
