Those times look terrible for anyone looking to make a Pelicans game.

You think that’s terrible. Wait till you see what the Pelicans roster looks like.

Serious question - if your train leaves at 7:30 how early do you need to arrive? Like 7:20?

I mean depends where you are starting from and going, same with NY to DC. If I'm traveling downtown Boston to midtown NYC by train I would save AT LEAST 1.5 hours total just avoiding the airport, and 1 or 2 uber/lyft fares which might make it cheaper overall.

Same with DC, Union Station is close to everything and had a metro stop. Even more so if you are flying out of Dulles or BWI.

Again all depends your starting and ending destination.

At a smaller station (like all of the ones on this route) I would say 15 minutes is fine unless you are checking a bag, then 30 minutes. At a big city station like Union Station in DC or Chicago or Moynihan in NYC 30 minutes is better to navigate the station.

Pretty much. There isn't any kind of screening or preflight check.

Stops in-between are 5 minutes or so if the train is on time. Get your shite on/off and be ready to move.

How long does it take? 4 hours + for a trip you could drive in two?

that's a hiccup with trains.
several stops along a route where you wouldn't have to stop at all in a car.
