They do a few big events a year. The track is always on absolute kill. This is at least the 3rd or 4th time this has happened. I was there for Dennis Bailey’s wreck years ago and it was a miracle he not only walked away but was at work on Monday.

Which ones? Most of these guys I know are self sponsored. But I’ve been adjacent at best the last few years but have an X275 car that should be ready for the Fall race.

Terry McMillen couldn’t finish last season after Amalie backed out.
There are a few in the NHRA.
I can guarantee the two of us have crossed paths. There are many small no nothing teams that are out just to race. I have reached into my pocket many times with those guys to help buy fuel or whatever to make it through the weekend.
Sad that this generation will never know.

Ahh yeah those guys need the sponsor money. This is more dudes who know the best way to end a season with $100k in the bank is to start with $300k.
